Sir, I am a 20 years old boy, my jaw is restricted to only two fingers opening since my childhood, I am not able to open the jaw completely like others i.e. 3 fingers opening but I am able to carry all the activities like eating food etc. But I have problems swallowing things like pani puri etc. I never chewed tobacco or guthka in life. I have a problem of crossbite as well i.e.my teeth are not properly aligned, the upper jaw is coming ahead of lower jaw. Sir/madam, is this a problem of tmj or trismus, or this jaw lock has any connection with any neuro problem?

Most likely you have fibrous tmj ankylosis, better you get one xray or mri done and get the opinion from an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at medical college level.
