My son is 13 years of age. Weight 80 kg. He is suffering from fever since 3 months. He is having mostly fever in the morning (peak at 8: 00 am 101-103 degF) fever gets gradually reduced without paracetamol and become normal at 12: 00 (noon). He was admitted for his dengue (IgM +ve) to hospital 3 months back. Doctor gave him Monocef (Iv Fluid) fever subsided and discharged. Again fever came. Admitted to hospital put augmentin 625 IV fluid for seven days fever subsided and gets discharged. Again he got urinary tract infection took ciprofloxacin (1000 mg/day) for 5 days and nitrofurantoin (300 mg/day) for 7 days. Fever subsided again after 7-8 days fever relapsed. Now he is taking DOXT 100 mg fever is in the morning 100.4 F. Kindly help.
