I am 30 year old female married a year back. My husband is 32 and he has undergone circumcision during his teenage for some health issue. Because of that he is afraid now of having sex thinking he may get some STD when all basic blood reports are normal. How to convince him on that as we are planning to conception but afraid of the issue? Thanks.

Hello- Removal of foreskin during circumcision is done only to ease the sexual process and to maintain proper penis hygiene in males which suffer from tight foreskin. Having a intact foreskin does not means that one can not get STD. Since you and your partner are free from any STD, you both can not get one. Its best to go for combined counselling. Only a medical professionalism can reduce your husbands anxiety.
