I'm 16 years old, one year ago I noticed that I couldn't hear above 14k Hz audio in my right ear and above 17k Hz in my left. I didn't use headphones that often and stopped using them completely. Last summer I checked again and hearing range was down to 12k Hz. After a disappointing visit to a clinic where they only checked up to 8k and said that I was fine. The school was starting and I forgot about it. Now I'm going to another clinic and I wanted to know some info. Currently I can't hear above 10k Hz in my right ear and 14k in my left ear. I don't know if the first message got delivered so this might be a second.
