I had used retina A topical as prescribed. While using that I experienced pain in my joints and a rush of depression, sadness even suicidal thoughts. My doctor wanted to prescribe me roaccutane but did not because of that. Should I tell her to prescribe me that. Because I have severe acne and I look bad because of that and my social life is greatly affected by that. From my teens I got acne. I have used medication two times by two dermatologists. They both gave me antibiotics along with other creams. But I start getting acne after I completed my medications. Now I am not using retino a topical. I stopped retino a after using for a short time while I had the side effects. The pain in joints and depression and suicidal thoughts stopped after that. The first dermatologist used to prescribe me different medicines each time, that is why I stopped seeing him. The second one gave me antibiotics, antihistamines and some cream. So you can understand I have taken medicine and creams of different formula? my father has diabetes. And I had jaundice (hepatitis) last year so should I ask my derm to give me roaccutane?
