Dear lybrate user with the limited amount of information provided it appears that you are concerned about your wife's anti epileptic medication oxetol. It could had been better if you had provided us with her detailed medical history like when was her last seizure episode, is there any other medicine she had been using, her last eeg and mri. Personally I will not suggest to stop this medicine. It is advisable if you can meet a neurophysician in person who can assess her and he and if acceptable can reduce the dose accordingly hope that solves your query. Anything more then please feel free to revert.

Dear patient, greetings from lybrate! we usually recommend to take anti-epileptic medicines like oxytol to be taken for 3 years at a stretch after she is seizure free. This is to prevent a recurrence soon. Never stop these medicines without advice of your doctor. I hope this helps.
