Psychiatric drugs for ADHD in the long term are known to be very deadly like they can cause worst depression and worst anxiety and many other problems so then why take psychiatric medicines for ADHD?

Hello lybrate-user. The medications if given in appropriate dose and for appropriate duration, does not have any such side effects. Also, if a patient of ADHD isn't treated, s/he won't be able to learn and develop when it's his/her age because of the hyperactivity and the inattention that comes because of ADHD. Thus, the patient should definitely be given medications.
