I have a dental tartar. Although I do brushing daily but may be smoking is the reason for that. Please tell what are the reasons behind that and also can I remove that permanently and whiten my teeth without any surgery?

Tartar / deposit is formed due to various reasons which are when we don't brush thouroughly from the back side of teeth as well ... Secondly .. lot of ions are present in saliva which also cause tartar in teeth .. we should brush our teeth twice daily morning and evening and rinse our mouth after what we eat especially tea coffee ... Smoking though very harm ful n discolours teeth but doesn't increase tartar deposit it's because of in correct brushing get scaling polishing done than brush twice daily avoid coloured food stuff
