I had taken alcohol last night. And after 7 hours of fasting my blood sugar was 170. Is it ok.

Mr. lybrate-user, Fasting glucose is usually measured after a gap of 10 plus hours after dinner. In any case 170 mg after 7 hours is high. Please check proper fasting and PP (2 hours after food) and HbA1c%, that will clarify the doubt. Looking at your height and weight with a BMI of 37.29 kgs/Sq meter, (normal < 23 kgs/Sq meter), you are already close to grade 3 obesity, this itself is an invitation to diabetes and hypertension. Thanks.
