This can be corrected with little diet modification only first. Go for Vegetarian diet with more greeny leafy vegetables and all colourful fruits in between your main meals. Have veg soup everyday for 2 months. Reduce sugar intake. Regular 20 minutes walk along with above modifications will bring your cholesterol and Hb in normal limits.

Dear lybrateuser, - Try improve both by lifestyle measures : - have a diet rich in iron & folate containing foods such as green leafy vegetables especially spinach, fruits, whole grains instead of refined ones, lean meats, beans, lentils, pulses, chickpeas, sprouts, nuts - for cholesterol avoid fried, processed & junk foods, have more of fibre containing foods such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, sprouts, nuts( a handful only), have low fat milk and milk products, heart healthy fats as in fish, olive & canola oil for cooking, avocados & nuts - do regular exercise like walking, jogging, swimming or cycling for one hour daily. - if not much reduction in level then consult a doctor as you may require medication for your problem.
