Hi Doctor, I have irregular periods (irregular in alternative month). I recently met my gynecologist. She suggested prolactin test, Ultrasound scan. In results I got as, my Ovaries volume (RT: 5.78 cc, LT: 6.6 cc), C follicles of 5-8 mm size on Both ovaries. No pelvic mass. My prolactin range is 15.46 Ng/ml. Are there any chance of having pcod with these symptoms? She suggested me to use Metformin 500 MG+Myo-inositol 600 MG (morning & night), Ethinyl Estradiol (0.03 mg) + Gestodene (0.075 mg) should start on my 5th day of my period. My BMI is normal, no weight gain, no unwanted hair. I regularly go to gym 4-5 days in a week. I took medroxyprogesterone 10 mg for 5 days. Today is 10th day, but I haven't got my period yet. Please suggest me Are there any chances of having pcod. Please suggest. Should I continue the medication? Please help. Thank you.
