Recently TSH report found as 7.8 and the doctor prescribed Thyrox-25. After from the medicine please advise me some effective home remedy so that it can be normal quickly. I heard that in case of high TSH, weight increases but patient?s weight is decreasing. Is it normal? In addition, is it current, high TSH value mainly affects throat and its size? Because of any reason if TSH value becomes normal, is there any change again for its abnormal value?

There is no home remedy for Hypothyroidism. Please take medicine regularly and do test every six months. In case the TSH comes down to normal, the doctor can advise you to reduce / remove medicines. Else you have to take it continuously, there is no other option. Weight loss or gain may fluctuate a bit, about 2-3% only. High TSH does not effect throat size. There is nothing abnormal in it. It happens to many people. Its perfectly fine, no need to worry. Just take your medicines regularly and be happy.
