I have a lump that may be about pea sized in my vaginal area. It is not inside my vagina opening, it is a couple of centimeters above the opening. My husband notice it the other night. It doesn't bother me unless I put pressure directly on it, and the lips are unusually itchy if that helps at all. I haven't tried to have sex since it was found and I'm not sure how long it has been there. I was wondering is this something that could go away on its own? Or do I need to go see a doctor? I do not know if the lump is fluid filled or not, and it can move slightly from what I can tell. It does look kind of dark in color.

Hello- Bumps and lumps on your vagina and vulva can be normal, or they could be a sign of a condition that requires medical attention.
