I had a sexual intercourse with a female sex worker but unfortunately condom broke. I didn't know her HIV status so I took PEP (started 25th hour after exposure) for 28 days as prescribed by the doctor. I had done the following hiv tests after exposure. 38th, 41st, 63rd, 86th days after exposure - hiv duo/combo test @ Metropolis & Lalpath lab 41st day after exposure - Real time RNA PCR @ Lalpath Lab. Last hiv duo test was done on 86th day after exposure at Lalpath Lab. All test results are negative/non reactive. Are these results conclusive? Do I need test it again? Is I'm in safer zone? What are the chances of changing 86th day negative into positive in future?
