For about a year, the second last molar in my mouth developed a cavity. This would create problems, specially when things like cloves or meat got stuck inside. A few days ago, while I was cleaning my mouth a small black piece fell out. At first I thought that it was some external object; I wondered how it had got there in the first place. Only later did I realize that it was actually the remnant of the tooth mentioned earlier. On checking with my tongue I found that the space had become vacant. My question is: Is the problem over by itself? Or should I take any precautions? Do I need to visit a dentist? In this context, I would like to inform that I got all my wisdom teeth while in college. Thanks.
