I am 22 years old I am I couldn't smile confidently because of gaps in my teeth and slightly up. Do retainers work for me for this small correction or should I go for braces, I couldn't afford those still help me doctor for choose the right one.

Actually I can say by seeing your teeth only. So kindly visit a dentist nearby. If you have small teeth and small gap, it can be corrected by composite restoration. If there is no other ption kindly ask your dentist for other option. If he says to go for retainers. Kindly go for that. Ask your dentist that whether can he or she fill with restorations like composite filling. Thank you!
