There was gum bleeding during brushing and left neck pain for a couple of weeks and after the scaling procedure by dentist, followed by a course of antibiotics, the problem subsided for a day. Now I have persistent pain below my left ear and lower neck. What should I do? Please advise me Dr.

According to your history it is better to visit a specialist dentist (MDS) or ENT specialist. Since your problem is not improving please act fast. If required some x-rays of head and neck reason may be taken. There are series of possibilities for your problem. Mean while, start warm saline rinse multiple times as it may sooth your problem.

You may have cavity or reduced layers of normal teeth. Brush your teeth with Oral-B UltraSoft Tooth Brush in circular motion without applying much pressure. If there is cavity kindly consult a dentist and get filled. Use Cleanodent mouth wash and if you can. Brush twice a day. If you do not have time to brush twice then gargle well with water after your dinner and avoid drinking or eating milk products or sweets before going to bed. Thank you!
