Hello doctor, the term SEX has badly destroyed my life. I have been masturbating since I was 6 years old. I would masturbate 4-5 times everyday. The desire for sex is so severe that - I imagine doing it with each and every woman I meet; I would suddenly wake up at night from deep sleep and masturbate rigorously. It has damaged my physical and mental health adversely. Now, I have reduced it due to sexual problems like P.E & E.D. But I have lost all sexual power also my penis pains badly when I try to masturbate. I am too afraid & concerned about my future. Pls tell me what should I do?

Hello- not everyone shares the same symptoms. Age, health, genetics, masturbatory activity determine your symptoms. We have found that a high percentage of young people who started abusive masturbation before puberty can have multiple symptoms from several different causes. Combating any type of addiction requires self-determination, discipline and maybe professional help. You must be mentally prepared to quit. You need to discipline your mind and refrain from masturbating. And if need be, you need to seek out professional help. It?s best to start quitting gradually. If you masturbate 30 times a week (roughly two times a day), try masturbating once a day. Each week, reduce the amount you masturbate by half until you reach zero.
