Dear Lybrateuser, -To have a strong immune system you have to follow a healthy lifestyle including a well-balanced diet, do regular exercise, sleep well & keep stress levels low - have a well balanced diet with more of fruits vegetables including green leafy ones whole grains instead of refined ones, protein rich foods such as eggs, lean meats, milk and milk products, tofu, soya products, beans, lentils, pulses, sprouts, peas, nuts such as almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews, peanuts and seeds such as flax, chia & sesame - have a variety of fruits, vegetables & other foods in your meals to get the various vitamins & minerals which help build the immunity - have plenty of oral fluids including 7-8 glasses of water for proper hydration - do regular exercise like walking, jogging, swimming, cycling, pushups, pullups, crunches, squats and also do moderate weight lifting for 10-15 min twice a week to build your muscles and to keep your body fit - sleep well for at least 7-8 hrs at night which helps build a strong immunity - keep stress levels low by doing yoga, listening to music and following a hobby.
