Hello! My name is Harsh. I'm a seventeen years old boy. Let me mention my problems. It all started three years ago, I had a severe panic attack. At that time I had no clue what it was so I panicked really bad and thought I was gonna have a heart attack. I went to a hospital as it was really severe. After a few days anxiety attacks became normal to me and I used to have them every night. I got used to them and then all of a sudden one day I realized that I don't see the world like I used to. The world seemed unreal and I started having severe problems with my concentration and memory. When the feeling of derealisation first started I lost control and thought I was going crazy. Everyone told me I was going nuts and it was just my belief. With time I got into drugs and smoking but after three months I completely left it but the withdrawal effects were severe and made me even more depressed. It has always been difficult and my grades has been so down that I don't believe I will graduate from senior high school next year. The world seems unreal and I don't feel emotionally connected to people as I don't remember anything about myself. I do remember but at the same time I don't have visual memories. I don't enjoy anything and nothing makes me happy nomore.

Tremors, feeling anxious or nervous, sense of panic, sweating, increased heartbeat, feeling of impending doom, stomach discomfort, dizziness etc are signs of anxiety. These can be debilitating. If the anxiety is overwhelming, consult a Psychiatrist at the earliest. With the right medication and counseling, it is likely your symptoms will improve.
