Sir my grandfather was having difficulty in passing urine so we went to urologist and after checking with hand and looking Through ultrasound he said that their is a tumor in urinary bladder and advice us for CT scan ,so we did that today, just now the report have came and the impression says that NCCT KUB REVEALS HETEROGENEOUS isodense Lesion along left lateral and posterior wall of urinary bladder with involvement of left UV junction and distal ureter with left hydroureteronephrosis suggestive of neoplastic etiology. CAn you please tell me what it is and can it be cured ,is it cancer?

It was better' to get a contrast enhanced CT abdomen because it would have clearly told wether the tumor is extending in to lower ureter or not. From present report it looks like a bladder tumor which is extending into left lower ureter. He needs turbt which is endoscopic removal of bladder tumor. Once you get the biopsy report after removal then you need to meet a urologist for next course of action.
