Respected Sir/Mam, My wife is pregnant and currently its 27 weeks and 3 days. I came to know that in this period i.e in between 24-28 weeks .pregnant patient have to go for test for GESTATIONAL DIABETES via GTT (glucose tolerance test). My simple question is - Shall I go for 1?Glucose tolerance test with 75GM skipping GLUCOSE CHALLENGE TEST or I have to test first GLUCOSE CHALLENGE TEST and if its positive and need further investigation then I go for GTT (GLUCOSE TOLERANCE TEST) Rgds Amitabh.
