I have been suffering from back pain for last 5-6 years. I had an MRI last year on 13 Feb 2017. As per the MRI report, I have Posterocentral protrusion (2 mm) and 2.4 mm at L3-4 and L4-5 respectively. And Posterocentral and left paracentral protrusion protrusion (4.2)mm at L5-S1 causing restriction of the left lateral recess an pressure effect over the left descending S1 nerve root without significant narrowing of central spinal compromise. Sometimes the pain gets very severe. Please advise if there exist a permanent solution of this problem. If not please at least advise some medicine to control the pain as I can't lift even 5 kg without pain.
