HI, I was recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis and the doctor said I have vitamin D3 and calcium deficiency. Terrible knee pain and back pain. My age -49 yrs Weight -108 kgs What do I do?

Hi Age and overweight is also a factor for degenerative changes that results in pain. Take rest. Do hot fomentation 10 to 15 mins (chk for swelling and redness on knees if it is then apply ice pack for 5 to 7 mins). Avoid prolonged standing and stairs climbing. Avoid squatting and floor sitting. Avoid forward bending and lifting weights. Start gentle exercises under supervision of a physiotherapist. Take care
