I am a 62 years old and suffering from joint pains. Doctors suggested me that either get your joints replace or get an injection of Steroid in the joint (Knee). pl clarify that getting an injection of Steroid is safe and curable.

I would say steroid is not good for in any case.either you can go for exercise with a good physiotherapist.if your problem persists then go for surgery. never think about steroid injection. it have lits side effects.
