Hi, my 5 years son old was sick 2 weeks ago, he got 4 days of fever (around 38,5 to 40) with day 2 red sink like sunburn, small pain on the throat. The doctor told us it's a scarlet disease and prescribe 8 days of antibiotic. My son get well when he start the antibiotic. But day 5 his skin was itching him during a week, he also get 4 days with a small cheilitis fix with hydrate cream. And he have desquamation on soles of his feet since the antibiotic. Now he is feeling very well he is playing, have good appetite. But I'm worried that the last symptom desquamation cheilitis is not the result of the scarlet but it can be a Kawaski disease. What my question is if it was a Kawasaki disease is that possible he feel better with just the antibiotic? And now look good with no treatment? Thank you for your help.
