On Friday I felt normal cold and slight fever, which aggravated on Saturday and I took paracetamol for the same. But since Friday I can feel this lump in my throat which is not letting me swallow anything without severe pain. Initially I thought it's a part of the cold but now there is no more fever just the pain in the throat which is causing severe pain to swallow anything or even yawn. I have been doing gargles 3 times a day and drinking Luke warm water all weekend but I don't see any improvement. please suggest.
