Hi, I am 35 years old female. I have dry and acne prone skin. At age of 32, I had noticed 2-3 fine lines on my forehead. I consulted a dermatologist and came to know about applying sunscreen. Since I was working from home for 3 years after that I really didn't much apply any sunscreen unless I went out for a holiday or out on a beach. Few months ago in June 2018, I tried Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle repair night moisturizer only on my forehead and it worked. Those forehead lines completely vanished in like a month. Around 2 months back in August I came to India for some work and I noticed few more lines under my eyes and since I was travelling I didn't get chance to apply Neutrogena rapid wrinkle repair for like a month. Those forehead lines that had disappeared came back. I usually see them when I wake up in the morning and as day passes they fade away and appear again in the morning just like it was 3 years back and now along with few more lines under my eyes. So I did some more research and thought to go for some better solution. I read about aloe vera gel and improving my diet with fruits, veggies, omega 3, etc. I have been following a very good diet from past 1 month now. However, since I did not find any fresh aloe vera gel that time, I found "Patanjali" brand Aloe vera gel and I applied for 2 weeks at night after washing my face. I applied it on my entire face. Initially my skin was glowing but then I noticed few more lines on side of my eyes. So I got freaked out and stopped using that ready gel. I got fresh aloe vera leaves and have been applying only on my forehead for a week now. I wash my face at night and apply the fresh aloe vera gel on my forehead and leave for 20 mins and then rinse and apply my moisturizer. I don't see any difference yet. But I am worried about the lines under my eyes and side of my eyes. They appear more and more everyday. Can you please help? Do you think the "Patanjali" brand aloe vera gel could have given me those lines on the side of my eyes? Should I continue using fresh aloe vera gel on my forehead? If yes, for how long should I keep it?
