I am a 20 year old female. My mother was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in 2000, when I was 2 years old. She is very well now. But suffers from diabetes, high blood pressure problem, and some other problems. There have never been any case of breast cancer, ovarian cancer or prostate cancer in any of my family members from my mother's or father's side. She is the only such case in my family. How much risk am I at of acquiring breast or ovarian cancer, and what prevention should I take? Should I take a BARC test? Or an HPV vaccination?
