Hi, My SGPT&SGOT are high in the blood. Similarly uric acid is high. Please advise me the reason for these higher value and how to reduce it in the blood. Secondly, about eight months back total cholesterol, triglycerides were more than limit. It's now less than 150 when tested by same lab. It's surprising to me. Please let me know can it be possible?

lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. Your information is very general, there is no mention of actual liver enzyme values, so difficult to give any comments or suggestions. Another aspect is that you are over weight with a BMI 28.74 kgs / Sq meter (normal < 23 kgs/Sq meter), that means there is an excess of 14 kgs, this can be the cause for increase of liver enzymes. Regular exercise, diet and weight reduction will help. There is no worry on cholesterol. Thanks.
