Hi, I have had a swollen lymph node in my neck for about a month now, I did go to a GP, we did extended blood tests, everything came perfect, we checked for Lymphocytes, HIV, and many other things. No infections were found, we even tested for Toxoplasmosis. I have am so scared that this is lymphoma, I have been obsessed for a while, but can I eliminate lymphoma out knowing that my WBC counts and Lymphocyte results came in perfect and normal ranges? I absolutely have no other symptoms to describe other than chest pain. Can I eliminate Lymphoma out? The next step according to my doctor is to take a CT scan, I really can not afford further tests for now, if lymphoma can be eliminated, I will postpone to have a CT scan.

If all the test resulta are normal and lymph node is less then 1 cm size and not increasing or non painful, you shall not worry. Otherwise you can go for lymph node biopsy rather then ct scan to know about the structure and cellular content, which will help rule out serious medical conditions like lymphoma.

Just by lymphocyte result it cannot be eliminated. There is no other report of FNAc being put or reports of excision biopsy. This are invasive procedure. CT scan is a noninvasive procedure. It has to be investigated thoroughly.
