Is it's too late. Patient in fear. What's the next step. Because the patient went to chen clinic which is always clean. But notice new people in facility. Had a Spanish female nurse drawn blood. When she entered the room. She put her tool box that's red with the supplies inside by the sink to open, but the patient didn't see what she was doing. As she took out each tubes she rest on the clinic bed, while patient sit in the chair. Got the alcohol wipes out on packet and rest on bed. The needle was last item she took out. When she got out but the patient didn't pay much attention to needle. The patient wanted to give the nurse the benefit of the doubt. But now patient in fear. So the patient don't want to accuse the nurse without proof. Because patient got blood drawn on October 2, 2018. The next day experience a little mild fever. Dehydration and some appetite. Still dry mouth and feeling dehydrated some. It's October 7, 2018. Has not been sexual activity for 8 years. Back then the patient always would get tested when the patient was sexual activity was always negative. Please respond. Thank you.

Hi lybrate-user! You can do Blood Test again to check if you are infected or not. If the test results are clear enough, and the results are negative then you can be cool and fear not. If you are afraid of infection through blood via syringe, the chances are very less, but still if you fear you can take certain sets of blood tests to rule out any infection if doubt is disturbing your happy and peaceful life. Take care. No worries. With regards.
