I am 21 years old girl. My ige level is 3236. I have allergy in home dust. Showed many ENT specialist and chest specialist. My current problem is breathing problem and nasal pipe irritation and burning sensation feeling. Dr. give me same treatment 2 inhaler and medicine like montelukast and levocetirizine but when I take those medicine I am feeling better but when I quit the condition goes to same as previous. What to do doctor please help me. Now I am really hopeless. How I control this situation. I have to take montelukast and levocetirizine for whole lifetime or not?

Hi, I can understand your concern. Allergy is a genetic problem most of time so treatment is like using spectacles in low eye sight. So in my opinion you should continue your treatment. You can take immunotherapy too.

you can do allergy testing , find the level of aeroallergen antibodies , then try immunotherapy after controlling wheezing.
