I have severe lower back pain associated with thighs butts and knee pain .zI need some pain killer daily to come out of the pain. What exercise do you recommend for me to avoid the pain killers.

Dear Lybrate user, Thank you for the detailed description. It looks like you may have lumbar spinal stenosis based on the symptoms you are describing. Lumbar spinal stenosis can happen because of various reasons such as degenerative disc disease, disc bulge, disc prolapse etc. If whatever pain killer you are taking is helping, you can continue the same for symptomatic relief for short duration. However, exercises are necessary to help in the long run. Please do this daily for 2 months and if you continue to have pain after that please visit a Physiotherapist in person.
