Hello sir. I am an intern. From last one wk I had vague pain in lower back which occurs on on bending forward. 3-4 days back I had viral infection and I had vomiting also. And while doing so I suffered a jerk in my back after that I am not able to sit. I can sleep or walk but its very painful when I sit. Even if I try to sit straight my back pains a lot.

Dear lybrate-user, It looks like you may have suffered a muscle strain considering the onset of pain while doing a particular activity (i.e. Vomiting in your case) and variation in pain with certain movements. If the pain is in the spinal column itself then it's likely a disc problem which would also explain your onset of pain and variation with movements. Since you have not mentioned the exact location I'm not able to give you specific diagnosis. However, it does seem musculoskeletal related issue. Hope this helps. If you wish discuss further you can set up an appointment to contact me.
