Keep your sugar and bp under control. Perform 1hr exercises or go for a walk for1 hr daily. Avoid oil fried food and sweets. Check out your cholesterol levels by doing lipid profile once in 6 months and see that the results are within normal range. Be active by avoiding sedentary life style.
