It's good that you tried to identified your feelings. You need to practice the exercise repeatedly if the negative thoughts are repeated. If you indulge in the past, you will definitely get angry because there will always be things that could have been done differently and that could have produced better results. So there will be regrets. Now we cannot turn back the clock back nor change the past. So that exercise is impossible and futile. But you can learn from them to better improve the present and future. By locking yourself in the past, you become a prisoner of it. The only way to look is, forward. And it looks like you are doing well with that. Learn to stay with the positive and strengthen that position. Because it is still a weak state in you, it will be quite easy to revert back to history and feel the regrets. Talk to a counselor and deal with them to completely eradicate it from your mind.
