My CPK level in yesterdays report was above than a 1000. I have recently started an intense exercise called EMS (electric Muscle Stimulation). I also consume alcohol. Can you advise which one of these have caused my CPK level to raise. Also what are the risk and how can I bring it down.

Do not consume alcohol.
In your case the muscle stimulation or the muscle work caused the CPK increase When muscle tissue is damaged, CPK leaks into your blood. Therefore, high levels of CPK usually indicate some sort of stress or injury to your heart or other muscles. To test CPK, blood is drawn from a vein in your arm. In the hospital, a person's CK-MB level is often checked when they exhibit signs of heart attack. In addition, alcohol also can increase CPK and you stop alcohol and see.
