Lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. Madam it is necessary to achieve TSH level around 3 to 4 mU/L, to be free from symptoms of hypothyroidism. Only then one can try and reduce the weight. With a BMI of 33.62 kgs/Sq meter, you are close to being in grade 2 obesity. This can lead to diabetes. You have an excess of 26 kgs. Please reduce that, which will help in free from diabetes. Thanks.
