Feeling tired all the time. Getting that sleepy feeling. Not feeling energetic. Taking multi vitamins and B-12 tablets. Doesn't seem to help that much. I do sleep late, around 3 am and up time is 9 am. Please suggest.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Your problem could be due to an improper diet or lack of exercise & also restful sleep - consume a well balanced diet with more of fruits, vegetables, whole grains instead of refined ones, protein rich foods such as eggs, lean meats ,milk and milk products, tofu, legumes, sprouts, nuts such as almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews, peanuts - add a protein rich food to each of your meals & also have as a snack in-between meals to provide energy throughout the day - have plenty of oral fluids including 7-8 glasses of water for proper hydration - do regular exercise like walking, jogging, cycling, swimming, moderate weight lifting for 10-15 min twice a week to keep fit & energetic - if possible try to sleep early before 12 o'clock as sleeping late at night can have an effect on the bodies metabolism especially sugar & BP control which can lead to the sleepy feeling - also check BP, blood hemoglobin, sugar & thyroid hormone levels if not done earlier.
