Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. With a BMI of close 35 kgs/Sq you are almost in grade 2 obesity. That is the main culprit for increased blood glucose. It is necessary to reduce weight as your ideal body weight should be less than 65 kgs. There is an excess of 30 kgs. SInce blood glucose shows you have diabetes, there is a need to start the treatment with appropriate drugs, plus diet restriction and regular exercise. Other medication that you are on should be continued. Please check fasting, PP glucose levels and HbA1c% as well as lipid profile. Thanks.
