My wife (53 yrs) is suffering from loose motion for past 2 yrs. We consulted a leading gastroenterologist in our area. He investigated the condition and prescribed the following medicines: Normaxin (plain) 0-0-1 for 15 days, Zinetac 150 mg ? daily one in morning for 15 days, T. Rcifax 200 mg - 1-0-1 for 5 days and T. Flagyl 400 mg ? 1-0-1 for 5 days. She had taken the medicine as per schedule but there is slight improvement in her condition. If she takes lopamide 2 mg ? one tablet in evening ,there is no loose motion.(Earlier before consulting Dr, she had taken probiotic and probiotic capsule viz Gastrobact ? daily one in morning and one in evening for 6 months). Please suggest the medicines to control the loose motion ,(she is taking tablets for DM, BP, depression and vertigo for past 5 yrs).
