From internet, it is known that vitamin k2MK4 and Vitamin K2 MK7 are important for taking calcium in blood to the bones. If this vitamin is less, then there will be tarter formation on teeth and osteoporosis. I have these problems and doctor diagnosed it as vitamin D deficiency. My bones are thin and teeth bones are considerably worn out. I feel Dr. should have given K2 MK4 and K2 MK7 medicine. As research in medical field is progressing, inter relationship between various factors affecting metabolism and disease is coming to known. In absence of K2 it is informed that calcium will stay in blood and deposit in arteries joints etc. Can some expert on Vitamin K2 suggest me what should I do? Can he suggest some medicine on MK4 and MK7? There are supplements available on Amazon. But vitamin expert/ doctors advise is must. It may help many people as osteoporosis is a common disease and doctors are requested to treat it holistically rather than suggesting vitamin D.
