My mother 53 years of age has been having a problem since she had been diagnosed with diabetes last year. Her back sometime upper sometimes lower there's no fixed place heats up allot and makes her weak and uncomfortable. Mainly this happens when she stresses out allot. A doctor said it's because of the hormonal changes due to menopause but she has had her menopause 7-8 years ago already. She's never had this problem in between and she had a high pressure too but her back never used to be heated up. I've seen some posts online of a nerve being pinched and causing this burning sensation on the back. I don't know what it really is but I want to get it diagnosed as soon as possible.

I understand your concern for your ailing mother. You need to take her to medical center and have her evaluated by orthopedic/spine surgeon. She may have to undergo MRI scan of her spine and run some blood tests to diagnose her condition. She can then take treatment and get physiotherapy.
