My BP is fluctuating in the range of 150/130 and 100/75 I got all tests done including CT scan, absolutely no problem is detected. What should I do? I don't want to be dependent on medicine. I go to gym too at least 3 days in week.

Dear lybrateuser, - Follow some lifestyle precautions : - avoid fried, processed & junk food, also reduce intake of tea, coffee to 1-2 cups per day if you take more, avoid alcohol & smoking if you do, also foods containing fats - have a salt restricted diet, avoid pickles, papads & salty snacks - have more of fruits, vegetables, whole grains instead of refined ones, low fat milk & dairy products, heart healthy fats as in fish, nuts, avocados, olive & canola oil, seeds such as flax & chia - do regular exercise like walking, jogging, swimming - de-stress by doing yoga, meditation & deep breathing, listening to music - sleep well for at least 7-8 hrs at night, keep your sleep & wake up time fixed - reduce weight by diet & exercise -monitor BP for 3 months if still high then medication may be required.
