6 month baby boy birth weight 3.86 kg. Current weight 5.78 kg. Our pediatrician after conducting electrolyte blood test has a doubt about the child suffering from renal tubular acidosis and so has asked us to consult a pediatric nephrologist due to low HCO3 level. Our baby is frequently vomiting since 2 months. Vomits almost 15% of top feed. Mild GER. Ultrasound and x-ray is normal. Any other reason possible for his low weight gain?
