I took atenex/atenolol for many years for hypertension and switched to losar 50 mg for some years and losar 25 mg for some days I forgot to take but my bp was below 140/90 and stopped, after some time and even now after stoppage of bp today at 8 am my bp is 120/80! shall I permanently stop bp drug-losar 25 mg respected learned doctors kindly educate me.

Hello sir If you were prescribed losar only for Hypertension and your BP is ok without it, you can stop, but since you have Diabetes, it also has additional kidney protective action Regards.

Measure BP once every month even if you stop taking medicines. It usually goes up few months after stopping medicines.
