Hello Lybrate user, Having a history of diabetes yes one can have fruits in their diet. Choose whole fruits instead of fruit juices because they're better for you, taste great, and fill you up faster and longer, with fewer total carbs. For better absorption of nutrients and glycemic control you can have in between the 2 meals like 10 am, 4 pm. But not with meals.
