Dr. I am having pcos and went to fertility clinic for succession Dr. gave me metformin, cystofert and meprate from 16 th day continued up to 25th day as I know meprate prevents pregnancy and I want to get pregnant so I am confused should I take meprate or skip pls help me. And my periods are regular but scanty.

lybrate-user, You need to take the Meprate from the 16th day of your menstrual period. Ovulation occurs at around the 14th day and Meprate will not be able to prevent the ovulation. It will, in fact, help support the pregnancy if it occurs. Please go ahead and take the medicines - they will be helpful for you. I hope this helps.
