I had a carbuncle about 1.5sq in. At my back at the left of my spinal cord. I had surgery on 24.7.18. Earlier as per the surgeon's info there were three or four capillaries leading down from the abscess. But now there is only one left about 1 inch deep which was initially about 3 inches long as per the person doing my dressing who works in a nearby hospital's Operation Theater having 20 years experience. The abscess is healing well with no infection till date. I'm also consuming a lot of best quality alkaline water in good volume daily. If I don't opt for a surgeon to stitch up the abscess after a few days, how long might it take to naturally heal it to stop dressing it anymore?
